Conférenciers 

 

Dr. Sandy Sehdev attended medical school at the University of Ottawa and subsequent training in medical oncology at the University of Toronto and The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre (1991).  He worked at The William Osler Health System serving a large Toronto area suburban community for 25 years (-2016) and while there was Chief of the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee, and long term lead of the clinical trials program (oncology) and continuing medical education (oncology). He was a past lead of CME for the Community Oncologists of Metropolitan Toronto (COMET), and a past Director of the Cancer Advocacy Coalition of Canada.  He is a current co-director of the Physician Alliance for Cancer Control and Treatment (Canada), an oncologist led advocacy coalition. He is currently a medical oncologist at The Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre, focusing on the treatment of breast, genitourinary cancers and melanoma and lead for the breast cancer program.  His interests included advocacy, medical education and applications of technology in medicine.

 

 

 

Nathalie Bolduc cumule plus de 20 ans d'expérience clinique dans le secteur public et privé. Elle a travaillé en recherche avec les familles canadiennes-françaises touchées par les gènes BRCA et a par la suite joint le Centre Universitaire de Santé McGill où elle a évolué dans plusieurs milieux cliniques, y compris le diagnostic prénatal, les technologies de reproduction ainsi que la génétique pédiatrique et adulte. Elle a également dirigé un programme provincial de test prédictif et collaboré avec une communauté des Premières Nations au développement de vidéos éducatifs sur la maladie de Huntington. Elle a été Présidente de l’Association des conseillères et conseillers en génétique du Québec de 2007 à 2013 et Présidente de l’Association canadienne des conseillers en génétique en 2017.
