While 6 500 people are diagnosed with cancer every year, 4 people die every day despite current scientific and medical advances.
We are generally aware of the harsh reality of treatment for those affected. However, very few people know that the period following treatment is a long and arduous process, which presents many great challenges for the entire family. The chapter opened with the diagnosis of breast cancer does not close after treatment. The period called survival is a period of redefinition of one self, values and lifestyle and often of the couple. The physical, emotional and financial consequences are numerous and too often irreversible.
For several years now, the Foundation has been committed to offering support to the entire family by addressing the various issues that cause significant anguish for those affected.
Your contribution helps us meet these challenges. The monthly donation campaign is a way to reaffirm your commitment to support a loved one, a spouse, a family member, or a person who is currently experiencing the same challenges as you have.
